Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) position in Grand Junction, Colorado, United States. This travel assignment starts May 6, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,963 to $2,019 with guaranteed hours of 30 per week. Shift is Night shift, 5x8. Work setting: acute care, travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy treatments per established protocols, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, intermittent positive pressure breathing, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, and sputum induction as required.
- Perform cardio-pulmonary diagnostics per protocols, such as electrocardiograms, cardiac stress testing, Lexiscan (cardiolite), dipyridamole (Persantine), dobutamine, stress echo-cardiogram, tilt tests, holter scanning, pulmonary function testing, arterial blood sampling and analysis, and assist with bronchoscopy as needed.
- Support home nocturnal oximetry and home sleep studies when required.
- Document patient records per departmental standards and maintain accurate, timely charting.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure appropriate, evidence-based respiratory care and patient safety.
- Provide general support with procedures as directed and assist with related assessments and equipment as needed.
Requirements
- Active Colorado license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). CRT required; RRT within 2 years.
- NRP preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Current BLS; ALC required within 6 months of employment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
- Ability to work in an acute care/inpatient setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
