Responsibilities
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures in the home health setting, including patient preparation, imaging, and equipment setup.
- Monitor patient condition during procedures; interpret basic data and alert the physician to changes as needed.
- Operate imaging equipment and related devices with attention to safety and accuracy; document findings and procedural data.
- Maintain sterile technique, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure proper equipment function and incident reporting.
- Collaborate with the care team, document in the EMR, and communicate changes in patient status to the physician and staff.
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California; ACLS (or HS-ACLS or RQI-ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; HLFS (Hospital Fire and Life Safety) certification; EKG certification preferred; EPIC EMR experience within the last 12 months.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; preferably with cardiology, critical care, or Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedures exposure.
- Additional: Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice setting; current nursing license per state of assignment; must meet all assignment-specific qualifications and EPIC requirements.
