Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – LTCA specialty, travel assignment in a long-term care (LTC) nursing home setting in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. Start date: July 6, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,383-$1,459 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Days. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents in a LTC setting under appropriate supervision.
- Conduct functional assessments to identify needs and establish measurable treatment goals.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans aimed at improving activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and participation.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, goals, and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and payer guidelines.
- Monitor resident safety during activities, and collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to optimize care.
- Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and communication with families or guardians as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active COTA credential with licensure in good standing in South Dakota, or eligibility for licensure.
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care/nursing home setting.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week, Day shift.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to work under supervision of an OT.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
