Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiovascular and non-invasive studies or treatments in the patient setting.
- Perform M-Mode imaging with measurements and calculations; execute 2-D echo procedures with all required views and calculations; conduct Doppler echo analysis.
- Obtain and interpret information according to the patient’s age-specific needs (e.g., pediatric echo or geriatric Doppler exam) and anticipate physician needs.
- Provide awareness of potential patient problems and contribute to safe, efficient imaging workflows.
- Document imaging findings, measurements, and patient data accurately in the medical record and communicate results to the physician and care team.
Requirements
- Experience performing cardiovascular imaging studies including M-Mode, 2-D echo, and Doppler.
- Ability to interpret and summarize imaging data and communicate findings to physicians.
- Comfort working in a home healthcare - hospice setting and with patients across age groups.
- Willingness and ability to work a 12-hour day shift in a travel assignment.
