Responsibilities
- Conduct initial OT evaluations and establish individualized treatment goals in collaboration with the care team.
- Plan and implement OT interventions to improve activities of daily living, mobility, safety, and functional independence.
- Monitor progress, document sessions, and adjust treatment plans as needed to meet outcomes.
- Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support discharge planning and ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and strategies to promote safety and independence.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Montana or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience in long-term care or acute care settings preferred
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a day shift and to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
