Responsibilities
- Monitor residents’ conditions and document changes in health status accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments per care plans and facility policy.
- Perform routine nursing procedures within scope of practice and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to update care plans and respond to acute changes.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote safe, respectful care.
- Maintain infection control practices, patient safety, and accurate charting for all care activities.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Massachusetts (as required for practice).
- Ability to work the nightly shift (23:00–07:00) and meet guaranteed weekly hours.
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification or equivalent, as mandated by standard practice.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to document and follow care plans accurately.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced setting with adherence to all facility policies and procedures.
