Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients with disabilities, injuries, and diseases in accordance with APTA standards.
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to relieve pain, restore motor function, and maintain optimal performance.
- Administer therapeutic interventions and modalities as prescribed; monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Document assessments, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care and support discharge planning.
- Ensure patient safety, maintain equipment and supplies, and comply with regulatory and facility policies.
Requirements
- Ability to work 8-hour days, 5 days per week in an inpatient care setting
- Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the relevant state or territory
- Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Willingness to travel and adapt to new assignment locations
- Professional conduct and adherence to all applicable policies and standards
