Travel Registered Nurse Case Management Job
Registered Nurse – Case Management (Travel) in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date 04/27/2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $1,821 to $1,874. Shift: 5x8 Days. This role operates in a Critical Access Hospital setting and includes clinical coordination of patient care plus direct nursing duties in the Emergency Department as needed.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with unit leadership to coordinate quality patient care activities and unit initiatives across the department.
- Serve as a clinical resource, providing education, retraining, and in-services in partnership with the nursing education department and unit managers.
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department as needed while coordinating with the care team to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent patient flow.
- Identify, develop, and implement process improvement projects and participate in performance improvement teams and related committees.
- Support ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services and assist with discharge planning and care coordination across departments.
- Float to other departments as needed, applying nursing skills to ensure patient coverage before core staff are floated.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
- Licenses/ Certifications: Current RN license in the State of Oregon; ACLS and PALS required; CRASE training.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; leadership, education, and/or quality experience preferred.
- Qualifications: Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial aspects of patient care; able to communicate therapeutically and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Physical/Working Ability: Able to perform essential duties with the physical demands of hospital nursing, including lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance and sustained walking/standing; capable of functioning in a busy ED environment.
