Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and established protocols.
- Screen patients for MRI safety, contraindications, and implants; ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
- Position patients and select appropriate coils and immobilization devices to optimize imaging.
- Acquire high-quality MR images by selecting and adjusting sequences and parameters; monitor patient comfort and safety.
- Administer intravenous contrast per policy and physician orders; observe for adverse reactions.
- Document imaging procedures and results in the EMR, ensure proper labeling and privacy of patient data; collaborate with radiologists and other team members.
- Maintain equipment readiness, perform basic quality checks, and report any malfunctions; participate in on-call rotation as required.
- Follow unit-specific policies, safety protocols, and patient care standards throughout the assignment.

Requirements
- ARRT (MR) certification
- BLS certification
- 1+ year MRI experience required; 2–3 years MRI experience preferred
- New graduates are not accepted
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and adhere to department policy
- EMR experience: Altera Sunrise (Allscripts) familiarity is preferred but not required
- Eligible to work in the United States
