Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department in Murphysboro, Illinois. This travel assignment starts on 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks in a Critical Access Hospital setting. Night shifts (1900-0730) with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay range is $1,754 to $1,839.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine physical, psychological, and spiritual needs; provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care
- Plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team; document and adjust as patient conditions change
- Deliver health teaching, counseling, and advocacy to promote optimum health and safeguard patient safety
- Demonstrate clinical judgment and critical thinking; recognize and report changes in patient condition promptly
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation in the patient’s medical record; support safety and quality by contributing to policy/procedure discussions
- Supervise and delegate responsibilities to licensed practical nurses and/or unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate
Requirements
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC preferred
- Timely completion of required education, competencies, and licensure
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Emergency Department within a Critical Access Hospital setting
- Availability to work nights and fulfill a 13-week travel assignment
