Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies per plan of care and physician orders
- Monitor residents’ conditions, document assessments, and report changes to the supervising nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, ensuring resident safety and comfort
- Support wound care, skin integrity, and preventive care as outlined in care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and communicate with families as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records and ensure infection control and safety standards are upheld
Requirements
- Active LPN license for New Mexico or eligibility to obtain licensure in-state
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Ability to work the listed shift schedule and travel assignment requirements
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
- Comfort working in a resident-centered, fast-paced care environment
- Demonstrated reliability and professional conduct in clinical settings
