Registered Nurse – ICU (Intensive Care Unit) travel assignment in Fort Bragg, California. Start date: 06/15/2026. Contract length: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: between $1,920 and $2,005 per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of ICU patients according to standards of care and the nursing process
- Monitor patient status closely, respond to changes, and adjust care plans as needed in collaboration with the care team
- Administer medications and procedures per physician orders; assess for adverse effects and medication interactions
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Supervise and direct activities of different nursing staff levels; delegate tasks appropriately
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes; ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
Requirements
- Active RN license (state of assignment or eligible for licensure per standard travel RN requirements; California licensure or eligibility typically required)
- ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and provide care in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and to supervise nursing staff when needed
- Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced environment and to maintain meticulous patient documentation
