This travel RN role supports an outpatient urgent care environment. The RN provides comprehensive nursing care under provider orders, supports triage activities, and collaborates with the care team to implement and review patient-centered care plans. The assignment requires strong clinical skills, clear communication, and the ability to educate patients and families on chronic disease management.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care, including patient assessments, administration of medications, and treatments per provider orders
- Triage patient communications, deliver timely interventions, and coordinate care as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with providers to develop, implement, and review participant-centered care plans
- Coordinate care transitions post-visit, communicate changes in condition, and educate patients, families, and caregivers on chronic disease management
- Review provider documentation to reconcile orders, medication changes, and follow-up needs
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Two to three years of recent hospital or acute-care experience; home health and/or clinic experience preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office; ability to work from the office while performing telephone-based triage duties
- Ability to work in an outpatient setting, manage competing demands, and communicate clearly and respectfully in stressful situations
