Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations as ordered.
- Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a variety of advanced equipment; produce digital images.
- Operate imaging equipment to generate high-quality digital images of designated body portions; position and instruct patients for examinations.
- Provide efficient clinical care with strong technical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- Model and mentor staff; train colleagues on technical skills and share knowledge to support team development.
- Participate in before-, during-, and after-care of invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures to treat cardiac and vascular disorders, including device implantation/removal and catheter ablations.
Requirements
- Active radiology license as required by state and department.
- Relevant radiology certifications as required by role and setting.
- Experience in interventional radiology or cardiovascular imaging preferred.
- Ability to work in a hospital interventional lab environment with appropriate sterile technique.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team.
- Eligibility for a travel assignment and the 4x10-hour shift schedule.
