Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients on an inpatient unit
- Monitor patients’ clinical status, interpret assessment data, and respond to changes promptly
- Administer medications and IV therapies, and manage devices according to physician orders
- Document patient care and progress in EPIC and Cerner, ensuring accurate and complete charting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust the patient plan of care
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care
Requirements
- Active registered nursing license in California
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Documented experience with EPIC and Cerner electronic health records
- Med Surg RN experience
- Must start on 06/29/2026 and be able to work 3x12 night shifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced short-term acute care setting
