Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for telemetry patients, including continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm assessment
- Administer prescribed medications and IV drips per unit protocol; monitor responses and adverse effects
- Recognize and respond to arrhythmias; collaborate with the cardiovascular team during events
- Document care and patient status accurately in the EPIC EMR
- Participate in unit orientation, patient safety initiatives, and may float to other acute care units as needed

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas and BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry experience; 2–5 years preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR; ability to document clearly and timely
- Experience with cardiac medications and procedures, including TR Band usage and initiation of cardiac drips (e.g., heparin, Lasix, Cardizem) and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation
- Credentialing requirements: CBC, drug screen (DS), and related labs must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Ability to float to all acute care units as needed
