Travel Registered Nurse Dialysis Job
Registered Nurse – Dialysis (Travel) | Burlington, Vermont, United States | Start June 24, 2026 | 2 weeks | Weekly pay $2,301 per week to $2,422 per week | Guaranteed hours: None | Shift: 4x10-hour days | Setting: hospital-based outpatient dialysis program. Responsibilities
- Deliver dialysis care to ESRD patients in an outpatient setting per physician orders and dialysis protocol
- Monitor patient status during treatment, including vital signs, fluid balance, machine parameters, and respond to equipment alarms
- Perform cannulation and vascular access care per protocol; maintain sterile technique and infection control standards
- Document treatments, patient status, and any changes in EPIC EMR; communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with nephrology physicians, dialysis technicians, and nursing peers to coordinate patient care across sites as needed
- Maintain patient safety and adherence to ESRD guidelines; escalate non-routine findings to the charge nurse or supervisor as required
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing; license on file at time of submission
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; minimum 1 year outpatient dialysis experience
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in an outpatient dialysis setting and float to St. Albans and Berlin as needed
