Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of Diagnostic X-ray procedures across inpatient, outpatient, OR (including C-arm), fluoroscopy, and portable imaging, adhering to department protocols and patient safety guidelines.
- Optimize image quality through proper positioning, exposure factors, and equipment operation; ensure accurate labeling and documentation.
- Maintain radiation safety and ALARA principles for patients and staff; monitor equipment for proper function and report issues.
- Collaborate with radiologists and care teams; assist with OR imaging and other site coverage as needed while adhering to daily float restrictions.
- Document in the EMR (EPIC experience preferred), review images with radiologists, and support timely and accurate reporting.
- Provide patient care across all age groups; communicate procedures, ensure comfort and safety, and address patient questions.

Requirements
- ARRT (Radiography) certification required at time of submittal
- Massachusetts radiology license required at submission
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Tech
- Current BLS from American Heart Association; flu vaccine required during season
- EMR experience preferred (EPIC); Driver’s license with address matching demographics
- RTO (requested time off) must be included at submission; cannot have previously worked permanent at any Cambridge facility

Education
