Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care in collaboration with licensed staff per care plans and physician orders
- Monitor and document vital signs, changes in condition, and responses to treatments
- Administer medications and treatments as permitted by state regulations and facility policy
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility needs
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record and communicate with the care team
- Ensure safety, infection control, and culturally competent care while prioritizing resident dignity
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license (state of NM or eligible for NM licensure)
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and meet guaranteed hours
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Willingness to travel and commit to a 12-week assignment
