Travel experience preferred; local candidates are not eligible due to a 50-mile radius rule.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neonates in a Level II NICU setting, including intake, assessment, and ongoing monitoring
- Manage ventilator/CPAP/BiPAP/high-flow oxygen therapy and adjust settings as ordered
- Perform UAC/UVC care and maintain peripheral IV lines; administer medications and IV fluids per protocol
- Administer phototherapy and support thermoregulation; assist with enteral feeding (gavage/NG feeds) and breast/bottle feeding as indicated
- Conduct sepsis workups, administer antibiotics/antivirals, and handle blood products per orders
- Monitor for prematurity-related issues (RDS, hyperbilirubinemia, hypoglycemia), document APGAR scores, and participate in rounds and care planning
- Document in Epic and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team; may float to Baby Nurse as needed

Requirements
- Active RN license in New Jersey or a compact license in hand at time of submittal
- Certifications: BLS and NRP or NRP Advanced (STABLE listed)
- Neonatal/NICU experience; Level II NICU experience preferred; 2 years’ experience preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Travel experience preferred; ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in a NICU setting; may float to Baby Nurse as needed
