Physical Therapist — specialty Physical Therapist in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Start date: 03/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,572 per week - $2,634 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week. Shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, 5 days per week. Work setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (travel assignment) with a focus on geriatric rehabilitation and mobility.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop a patient-centered physical therapy plan of care aligned with goals and discharge planning
- Provide direct PT services including therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance retraining, gait aids, transfers, and functional mobility training
- Reassess progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes in the medical record per facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize rehabilitation, discharge planning, and continuity of care
- Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, safety strategies, and equipment use
- Ensure patient safety during therapy, maintain infection control and ergonomic best practices
Requirements
- Active physical therapy license in Massachusetts (or eligibility for licensure)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced SNF setting and manage a 40-hour per week schedule
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
