Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date: 04/20/2026. Travel - temporary assignment for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay: $1,223–$1,328. Shift: Day shift on a 12x3 schedule with a 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. window, plus call, weekends and holidays; no block scheduling. Work setting is a hospital operating room environment. This assignment is located in the Atlanta area and is intended for qualified OR surgical teams on a travel basis. Posting valid through 07/18/2026.

Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile field and assemble and pass instruments and supplies for surgical procedures
- Assist the surgical team during operative cases, maintaining sterile technique and instrument counts
- Help position patients and assist with draping and counting; monitor sterile surroundings throughout cases
- Retrieve and arrange supplies, equipment, and specimens; support OR turnover between cases
- Maintain documentation of intraoperative activities as directed; respond to on-call requirements as assigned
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures in a high-demand OR environment
Requirements
- Travel assignment experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required; burn experience preferred
- Availability for day shift with on-call, weekends, and holidays
- Education: Completion of an accredited surgical technology program
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements for the operating room and be eligible to work in Georgia
