Responsibilities
- Perform cardiovascular imaging and radiology procedures, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety under department guidelines.
- Document procedures and results in the EPIC charting system; maintain accurate, timely data entry and status updates.
- Monitor patient status during imaging, manage vital signs as indicated, and respond to changes in condition; support infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiology, cardiology, and nursing teams; assist with procedures in ED, ICU, Cath Lab, D1 (MS/Tele), and Urgent Care as assigned; float within skill set as needed.
- Maintain and prepare imaging equipment and supplies; perform basic quality checks and ensure equipment readiness for procedures.
- Complete required pre‑start trainings and exams (including Relias EKG requirements for applicable units) and adhere to unit‑specific compliance standards.

Requirements
- NY State license: Radiologic Technologist license required; permanent NY license in hand prior to start (temp licenses not acceptable)
- Certifications: ARRT or CCI required; submit required certifications prior to start
- Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in CVIS/Radiology; travel experience preferred but not required; references required
- Education: Education details in job notes not specified; provide verification as part of submission
- EKG/Relias: Relias EKG exam applicable for certain units; exam due within 72 hours of signing; high-pass standard (on‑site 85% and 100% identification of critical rhythms; remediation/testing rules apply)
- Charting: EPIC proficiency required; patient care and charting within hospital setting; ability to float to designated units as needed
- Compliance and logistics: Must submit SSN/DOB, references, recent NY license, and certifications; local radius restriction applies; permanent address within 50 miles of the facility is not accepted
