Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration according to policy and procedure.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, take vital signs, and report changes to the supervising RN.
- Perform routine nursing assessments, wound care, and catheter or ostomy care as ordered.
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, including hygiene, turning, and positioning.
- Maintain accurateDocumentation in the electronic health record and communicate updates to the care team.
- Uphold infection control practices and safety protocols; respond promptly to call bells and changing resident needs.
Requirements
- Active Practical Nurse license in Maine or eligibility to practice as an LPN in the state
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Ability to work a 3x12 night schedule (18:45–07:15)
- Current US work authorization; local candidates to the Camden, ME area preferred
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
