Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for residents in a long-term care setting under RN supervision.
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately.
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in patient condition, and report to the supervising nurse.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including mobility, hygiene, eating, and positioning.
- Collaborate with the licensed nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record and uphold privacy and infection control standards.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico (NM)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Ability to work the 3x12-hour night shift
- Prior LTC or skilled nursing facility experience is preferred
- Eligible for facility-required health screening and background check
