Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Tele unit, including telemetry monitoring and frequent assessments
- Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and manage IV lines per protocol
- Conduct focused patient assessments and update care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Document patient information accurately in the Epic EHR and ensure charting compliance
- Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education; coordinate with case management as needed
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts registered nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry or equivalent inpatient telemetry experience
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications
- Epic experience required
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, including every other weekend and holidays
