Physical Therapy Assistant (LTAC) – Travel assignment in Salt Lake City, UT. Start 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Days shift in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, contributing to the plan of care for LTAC inpatients.
- Implement and progress therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfers, and mobility programs tailored to individual goals.
- Monitor patient responses, document progress, and communicate changes in status to the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain patient safety during treatment, manage assistive devices, and uphold infection control and equipment safety standards.
- Complete timely charting and written or electronic documentation per facility and regulatory requirements.
- Support discharge planning, home exercise program instruction, and patient/ family education as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Utah or eligible for licensure.
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program (associate degree).
- Preferred: PTA experience in LTAC or skilled nursing facility settings.
- Ability to commit to 36 hours per week with a day shift schedule.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care environment.
