Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients undergoing endoscopy or related procedures, including pre-op, intra-procedure, and post-op care
- Assess patient and family needs, develop a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, implement interventions, and evaluate patient progress
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring safe administration and documentation
- Educate patients and families about self-care and discharge instructions, using teach-back and age-appropriate communication
- Maintain infection prevention practices, patient safety, and a healing environment; participate in quality improvement activities
- Document care accurately and efficiently; contribute to handoffs and care coordination; participate in on-call rotations with a 1-hour response time

Requirements
- Active New York State RN licensure (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy/Endo RN experience (Required)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (Required)
- Ability to work in an Endoscopy/Endo unit and participate in on-call rotations
- Willingness to start shifts around 6:30am–7:30am and work a demanding schedule with on-call commitments
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care across adult to geriatric populations
