Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele (Oncology) needed for a travel assignment in Burlington, VT. Start date is 06/04/2026 for a 13-week engagement on a 12-hour night shift (3x12). Weekly pay ranges from $2,027 to $2,172. Work in a hospital setting on a Med/Surg Telemetry oncology unit (Miller 5) within a large teaching facility. A Vermont RN license on file at time of submission is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Tele oncology unit, focusing on high-acuity oncology needs
- Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy per training and facility protocol; manage IV antibiotics, blood products, and anticoagulant infusions
- Maintain and monitor central venous access devices; perform IV starts and routine line maintenance
- Conduct telemetry monitoring (not requiring a monitor tech) and respond to rhythm changes per unit protocol
- Administer tube feedings when indicated; provide patient and family education; document care and outcomes in the electronic health record (EPIC)

Requirements
- Active RN license in Vermont; license on file at time of submission
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (current)
- Experience: Prior travel nursing experience required; oncology/med-surg oncology experience preferred; EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
- Competencies: Proficiency with chemotherapy/biotherapy administration (when trained), central line care, IV starts, blood products, IV antibiotics, and anticoagulant infusions; ability to work in a high-acuity med-surg oncology telemetry setting
- Additional: Must have reliable transportation; public transportation is not accessible in the area
