Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Respiratory Therapy – Hilo, Hawaii, US
This travel assignment starts 06/01/2026 for 15 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,893 to $1,980, with no guaranteed hours. Shift is 3x12-hour Nights (1830–0700). The role is hospital-based, travel-temporary assignment. Arrival requirements include completing a pre-start employee health process.

Responsibilities
- Provide continuous airway management, including ventilator and non-invasive ventilation support
- Manage ventilated patients and assist with weaning, parameters, and monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians to implement comprehensive respiratory care plans
- Perform all aspects of respiratory care, including CPR, airway clearance, and respiratory therapies
- Utilize and troubleshoot unit equipment: ventilators (V60, PB 980, PB 840), Para Pac Transport Vent, Pyxis medication management, and computerized charting
- Document care accurately and maintain patient safety and infection control standards
- Adapt care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations as needed
Requirements
- Hawaii State Respiratory Therapy License (active by start date)
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS required; NRP preferred; RRT preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Not accepting first assignments
- Proof of Hawaii license by start date; proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved exception required prior to contract start date
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend employee health appointment
