Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations.
- Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a variety of sophisticated equipment.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce digital radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients for examinations; perform specialized studies.
- Deliver clinical care efficiently with technical and organizational skills and strong critical thinking.
- Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; provide input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff.
Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist licensure or eligibility in California.
- ARRT certification (Radiography) or equivalent credential.
- Interventional radiology experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a cardiovascular lab environment and operate interventional radiology equipment.
- Strong technical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
