Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessment findings, determine diagnoses and care issues, and develop an evidence-based plan of care
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe and healing environment; supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff
- Collaborate with the treatment team, patient, and family to provide education and health information; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Document care and treatment in the appropriate EMR systems (EPIC and Cerner) with accuracy and timeliness
- Delegate appropriately, coordinate duties of the healthcare team, and maintain a patient-centered, humane, and compassionate care environment

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California required)
- Education: BSN preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; acute-care experience preferred
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy; CPR may be accepted per policy
- EMR: EPIC and Cerner experience required for backfill assignments
- Vaccinations: All associates must meet vaccination requirements per organizational policy
- Additional: Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting; flexible to work night shifts; 48 hours per week commitment
