Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, including routine assessments and monitoring of vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies; document administration accurately
- Perform common nursing duties such as ADL assistance, wound care, and routine care activities
- Monitor residents, document changes, and escalate concerns to the supervising nurse and the medical team
- Ensure safety and quality of care through adherence to infection control practices, fall prevention, and proper charting
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members; participate in shift handoffs and care planning
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to work the 18:00–06:30 night shift on a rotating schedule
- Local candidate to the Silver City, NM area
- Availability to start on May 1, 2026 and commit to approximately 10 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week
