Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy to patients across neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Manage airway support, mechanical ventilation and weaning, ABG collection/interpretation
- Deliver airway clearance therapies, suctioning, and noninvasive ventilation (CPAP/BiPAP/HFNC)
- Monitor O2 saturation, End-Tidal CO2, and recognize/manage breathing patterns (including Cheyne-Stokes and periodic breathing)
- Perform procedures such as tracheostomy care and aerosol therapies; assist with infant/child respiratory care as needed
- Document care in Epic; participate in interdisciplinary teams and rapid response activities
- Complete pre-start competency modules (average ~16 hours) and maintain required certifications

Requirements
- Licenses: Active Washington State respiratory care license required;Pending license accepted
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS; CRT or RRT
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience; first-time travel clinicians accepted
- Education: Not specified in the job notes; please have completed an approved respiratory therapy program
- Additional: Ability to work in a hospital short-term acute care setting; may float to multiple units; weekend coverage every other week
- Vaccines: COVID-19 vaccine not required
- References: 2 references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required
- Other: Local residency restriction applies as noted; on-site orientation per department needs; RTO requests must be included with initial submittal
