Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, organize and participate in rehabilitative programs to restore or improve function in activities of daily living, functional mobility, cognitive tasks, strength, coordination and range of motion
- Deliver services across the full continuum of care with a cost-conscious, quality-focused, and patient-centered approach
- Document progress, adjust plans of care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and facility policies
- Communicate clearly with patients, families and the care team about goals, progress and discharge plans
Requirements
- Active OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure for practice in Georgia
- Ability to work in an acute care / inpatient rehabilitation environment
- Strong assessment, documentation and clinical reasoning skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate care across disciplines
