Registered Nurse needed for an adolescent behavioral health inpatient unit in a hospital setting in Cleveland, Ohio. This travel assignment begins on 08/03/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical nursing care to adolescent inpatients on a behavioral health unit
- Monitor patient conditions, perform assessments, and administer medications per orders
- Implement and document treatment plans, safety checks, and crisis-prevention interventions
- Apply de-escalation techniques and respond to behavioral health crises as needed
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (psychiatrists, therapists, social workers) for care planning and handoffs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record and ensure smooth transitions of care
Requirements
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
- One year of behavioral health experience preferred
- Deescalation training preferred (e.g., Welle or CPI)
- Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts in an inpatient adolescent behavioral health setting
