As a Stepdown RN, you’ll perform continuous assessments, telemetry interpretation, IV therapy, and post‑ICU transitions, coordinating with physicians, case managers, and bedside teams to ensure safe handoffs. You’ll educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance. The role offers growth through specialty certifications, in‑house training, mentorship, and opportunities to lead or precept as you extend your tenure.
