Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy assessments and treatments per physician orders
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and medications
- Monitor and operate respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery devices; assist with airway management as needed
- Track patient response, document progress, and adjust therapies per protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on device use, therapy goals, and safety considerations
Requirements
- Active Georgia license as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) per Georgia Composite Medical Board
- NBRC — RRT credential required
- AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the respiratory care specialty
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in a travel assignment in a hospital setting
