Travel Registered Nurse LTC Supervisor Job
Registered Nurse Supervisor - Part Time Evenings in a long-term care setting located in Waterloo, New York. This travel temporary assignment starts on 09/29/2026 and runs for 22 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,335 to $1,371 per week. Shift is evenings (2x8), with part-time scheduling, including weekends and holidays as assigned. The role is within a skilled nursing facility that provides long-term resident care, under continuous supervision and coordination with the Director of Nursing–LTC.

Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Director of Nursing–LTC, supervise nursing units and provide clinical leadership to staff across multiple units.
- Promote and ensure quality resident care through teaching, supervision, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Communicate with the Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Manager about unit issues, collaborating to resolve problems; provide on-call input for critical items after hours.
- Make sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and Administrator within approved scope, including during off-shift periods and weekends.
- Collaborate with medical staff, department managers, and ancillary services to coordinate care and meet regulatory requirements, including NYSDOH guidelines.
- Demonstrate effective leadership, professional communication (written and oral), time management, and the ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure (active)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care with supervisor/clinical lead responsibilities across multiple units (not limited to a single unit)
- BLS certification (via AHA or RQI system) through clinical orientation
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
- CPI obtained within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting; strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills; familiarity with NYSDOH requirements
