Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily care to residents per individualized care plans, including assistance with activities of daily living
- Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene while promoting dignity and independence
- Support mobility and transfers using safe patient-handling techniques; assist with positioning and turning as ordered
- Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration; monitor intake and document observations per policy
- Observe and report changes in residents’ condition or behavior to the supervising nurse; escalate as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment; adhere to infection prevention and control practices
- Complete accurate documentation of care activities and maintain resident confidentiality
Requirements
- Active CNA certification/registration in New Hampshire
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior CNA experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to work 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (8-hour shifts), 5 days per week
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and follow established care plans
