Responsibilities
- Perform overnight sleep studies, including polysomnography and related monitoring, per standard practice.
- Prepare patients, apply sensors, calibrate equipment, and monitor data quality throughout the study.
- Score sleep studies and assist in generating accurate results for interpretation by the sleep medicine team.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during testing; respond to alarms and patient needs promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized sleep study area and ensure complete, accurate documentation of procedures and results.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to coordinate patient care and communicate findings succinctly.
Requirements
- Active certification or licensure as a Sleep Technologist (Certified Sleep Lab Technologist or equivalent)
- Availability for 3x12-hour night shifts per week, including consecutive Saturdays as needed
- Experience in a sleep lab or related sleep technology role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and patient communication
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
