Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Med/Surg RN – Med Surg, Sonora, California. Travel assignment begins 04/13/2026 for 13 weeks in a short-term acute care setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,548 to $1,574 per week. No guaranteed hours are provided. Shift is 3x12-hour days (0700–1930). This position requires current California RN licensure and practice in a Med/Surg clinical environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients per unit standards and care plans
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status; administer medications and perform basic procedures as delegated
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team; promptly communicate changes in patient condition
- Maintain patient safety and infection control practices; participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress
- Adhere to hospital policies, patient privacy regulations, and quality improvement guidelines
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- 2 years of medical-surgical RN experience
- 3 months of recent specialty Med/Surg experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced short-term acute care setting
