This travel opportunity is for a licensed RN to provide care in a long-term care setting. The assignment is temporary and requires travel with assignment-specific credentialing and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessments and ongoing monitoring.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, document in the chart, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Monitor vital signs, assess for changes in condition, and respond to clinical concerns promptly.
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team; communicate with residents’ families as appropriate; document care plans and progress.
- Float to other units as needed; manage care for residents with dementia and behavioral symptoms; uphold safety, infection control, and quality-of-care standards.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Vermont ( VT RN license)
- BLS certification through American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; LTC experience required
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Must be able to start within 2 weeks of an offer
- Ability to float to other units as needed; comfortable caring for residents with dementia
- Willingness to work 3x12-hour day shifts
- Background checks and clear credentialing requirements:
- 7-year nationwide background check including county searches, FACIS-3, and sex offender registry within 18 months of start
- FACIS-3 and VCIC completion within 30 days of start
- Transportation note: Reliable personal transportation is recommended; public transit is limited in the area; snow tires are advised November through April
