Responsibilities
- Provide continuous airway management and ventilatory support, including invasive and non-invasive modalities.
- Monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot ventilators and associated equipment; participate in non-invasive ventilation management.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams; perform CPR and contribute to all aspects of respiratory care.
- Documentation and charting using computerized systems; utilize Pyxis for medication management as applicable.
- Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients across acute care settings; respond to respiratory crises as needed.
Requirements
- Hawaii State Respiratory Therapy License required by start of assignment
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS required; RRT preferred; NRP preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience; no first assignments
- Ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Flu vaccination proof or facility-approved exception required prior to contract start
- Must arrive the Thursday before start to complete employee health clearance
