Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group, following the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring of clinical status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and ER protocols.
- Monitor vital signs, interpret data, and respond to changes in patient condition with appropriate interventions.
- Supervise and direct activities of various nursing staff levels; coordinate care with physicians, case managers, and other disciplines.
- Document care, patient responses, and outcomes accurately and timely; participate in discharge planning and patient education as needed.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Experience in an emergency department or acute care setting
- Ability to work Night shifts: 12-hour rotations
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills
