Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative RNFA support, including chest exposure and closing as required
- Independently perform vein harvesting for CABG procedures
- Scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases when needed; assist with DaVinci robotic cases if applicable
- Support a range of cardiac procedures, including CABGs, structural heart cases (e.g., Bentall), minimally invasive valve surgery, and heart failure cases (e.g., Impella)
- Work with heart transplant teams when applicable; participate in telemetry and postoperative care as directed
- Maintain strict sterile technique, protect patient safety, and coordinate with the surgical team and anesthesia
- Document perioperative care and ensure accurate reporting of patient status and procedure details

Requirements
- NYS Registered Nurse license (active)
- 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
- AHA BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- CNOR certification
- Telemetry competency
