Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) travel assignment in a skilled nursing setting located in Geneva, New York. Start date 04/21/2026 for a 13-week assignment with 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, and positioning per the plan of care.
- Provide basic nursing care under supervision, including turning, skin care, and monitoring for safety and comfort.
- Support nutritional needs: tray setup, meal delivery, feeding assistance, and documenting intake and nourishments per protocol.
- Respond to call lights and alarms promptly; maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized environment; monitor for equipment issues.
- Document care and observations accurately per facility policies; communicate changes in resident status to the supervising nurse.
- Support rehabilitative activities including range of motion, transfers, ambulation, and proper body alignment using appropriate devices.
Requirements
- Active NYS Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA); must have held certification for at least 1 year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or RQI recommended).
- Minimum 1 year of prior long-term care (LTC) experience; LTC CNA experience preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work evenings and perform duties in a skilled nursing setting.
