Responsibilities
- Administer moderate sedation during procedures and monitor patient status throughout the perioperative period
- Serve as circulating RN when not providing sedation, maintaining sterile technique and procedural flow
- Monitor telemetry and cardiac/physical status; respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy during interventions
- Document nursing care accurately; follow established protocols and policies
- Provide on-call coverage as required and support the patient care team during high-volume procedures

Requirements
- Current NY RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Moderate Sedation Experience Required
- IR (interventional radiology) experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Circulate-only role in the procedural area; OR-level 1 trauma experience highly desired
- Two (2) years of relevant nursing experience; Acute-care or trauma exposure preferred
- Schedule: 36–40 hours per week; typically 12-hour shifts; days with on-call for weekends and nights
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, procedural environment
