Travel Registered Nurse Neuro Job
Registered Nurse – Neuro, Operating Room, Rochester, New York, United States. This travel - temporary assignment starts on 06/08/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $2,258 to $2,300 per week. Guaranteed hours are not guaranteed. Shift is 12-hour day shifts with on-call requirements for weekends and nights. The role is in a hospital operating room environment with a Level 1 trauma center setting and exposure to a multidisciplinary surgical service environment.

Responsibilities
- Serve as Circulating RN in the operating room, coordinating intraoperative care and ensuring adherence to sterile technique and surgical safety protocols.
- Provide moderate sedation oversight under supervision of anesthesia and surgical teams; support a wide variety of procedures across numerous specialties.
- Support multi-service teams in cases across orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center experience is highly desirable).
- Manage robotic-assisted cases using two Da Vinci systems and assist with transplant procedures involving livers, kidneys, and hearts.
- Monitor patient telemetry and hemodynamics as appropriate during procedures; document intraoperative events and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing colleagues, and ancillary staff; respond quickly to intraoperative changes and emergencies; participate in on-call coverage for weekends and nights as scheduled.
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Moderate Sedation experience required
- Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
- Minimum of two years OR experience; level 1 trauma hospital OR experience highly desired
- Telemetry experience; Circulating RN experience in the OR
