Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients using established nursing processes

- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize critical thinking, clinical judgment, and supervisory discretion to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Document care accurately and maintain compliance with policies and procedures
Requirements
- Active RN license in California (or eligibility as applicable)
- Experience or strong understanding of labor and delivery care environments
- Ability to work the night shift (12-hour shifts) in an inpatient setting
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated clinical competency in obstetric nursing and newborn care
